Why eat pasta?

  1. Its low in cholesterol (0.2 mg per 85 gr serving)
  2. The Canadian Food Guide states that for a healthy diet one must eat 6-11 servings of bread, cereal, rice and/or pasta.
  3. 1 cup serving of cooked pasta contains 99 calories, less than a half gram of fat and less than 5 mg of sodium.
  4. Pasta is high in complex carbohydrates, which helps to give you energy.
