Gluten Free BBQ Pasta Salad with Canadian Bacon

  • 1 pkg Italpasta Gluten Free Penne (340 g)
  • 3 tbsp Italpasta Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 4 cup baby spinach
  • 8 oz Canadian Bacon, cooked and sliced
  • 1 Red Pepper, chopped


  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together barbecue sauce, olive oil, vinegar, maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
  • Toss pasta with barbecue sauce mixture, spinach, bacon and red pepper.


Add cream and/or Parmesan cheese for a richer sauce.
